I am back with another beauty review! And please bear with me while I rave about this stuff. HAHA. Introducing, Re:cipe Slowganic Cleanser! To be honest, I did not purchase this cleanser myself. I won it through a giveaway contest held by Sapphire 218 few months back. I was planning to purchase it myself until Sapphire 218 had kindly organized a giveaway contest which made me super duper excited! If you have been reading my posts, you will notice my deep concern on the ingredients used in every beauty products I owned. That is the real reason why I am delighted to be introduced with this cleanser as it is made out of natural ingredients! The price is RM62 (14 USD) for 100g.

Re:cipe Slowganic Cleanser has 3 flavours; lemon, green tea and adlay. All three flavours assist on different skin types. To summarize the difference between all:
Lemon flavour is generally meant for those with normal skin. It claims to enhance dull skin while polishing the skin for a dewy healthy skin.
Green tea flavour is meant for those with oily skin especially those with acne. It claims to sooth the skin to its optimal level hence resulting balanced healthy skin.
Adlay flavour is made for those with dry skin as it focuses on hydrating and moisturizing the skin.

You will majorly tempted to try all of them on the fact that it uses mainly natural ingredients! But of course, the summary made was subjective as you can also try all of them and see which suits you best. And I must say, I love lemon flavour! The tub is made out of clear sturdy plastic. I love the unique cookie jar like lid and it comes with a spatula for hygienic purposes. The cleanser itself is marshmallow-like texture which smells heavenly with lemon. I didn’t smell any artificial fragrant to this point.
HOW I USE IT
Since I started my no-poo journey a year back, I prevented myself from using beauty products with artificial chemicals throughout my body thus I decided to wash my face once a day before bed. Eventually, my skin healed from all the damages caused by my temptation to frequently change my skincare brands. I can feel that my skin barrier is healthier as it is not easily damage by pollution, sunrays and zits. To date, I only wash my face when I feel like I need to – say after a long outing, and I will make sure to wash it at least once a week. And yes, I have no problem with oily skin whatsoever since (I used to have super oily skin with bad zits on my jaw). Back to the review, I seldom wash my face as mentioned so I only use this cleanser once a week or two. There a two methods of using this cleanser, as a mask and as a cleanser.
Mask:
On dry skin, using the spatula provided, I took a small amount of cleanser and dab it on my forehead, both of my cheeks, my chin and my nose. With clean hands, I massage the cleanser throughout my skin and let it stay for 10 minutes before rinsing it off. I did this once a month.
Cleanser:
On dry skin, using the spatula provided, I took a small amount of cleanser onto my dry fingers, run it thoroughly between my fingers and later apply it onto my skin. I will massage it for a minute then rinse it off with water. Some users applied the cleanser on wet skin hence use only a very small amount of cleanser (perhaps slightly smaller than pea size) as it will bubble up if water is used. I use it on dry skin as it polished my skin better.
EFFECTS
I love it! Right after my first wash with this cleanser, my skin felt amazing and I can go days feeling fresher than ever. And yes! It polished my skin very well. “Polished” here means it removes my dead skin cells superbly! My skin appeared brighter and sooooo much smoother right after wash. I can’t believe myself at first! I fell in love with the cleanser right away. I no longer need to use scrubs or peeling gels to remove my dead skin cells. This cleanser is so gentle yet so effective you can never go wrong with it. To top it off, I can save up loads from purchasing scrubs, peeling gels and masks! Yeay me!

Overall, I highly recommend this cleanser if you are still facing trouble with your current cleanser! I've read so many reviews online and most of them agreed that this cleanser do wonders.
