REVIEW: Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliner Stardust (Galaxy Black & Golden Brown)

THIS IS A SPONSORED REVIEW BY NATTACOSME

Hello everyone!

Yes yes yes! I am so excited to write on this review. Miss Hana Waterproof Gel Eyeliners have become my HG eyeliners evahh! I never thought I will even purchase one until Nattacosme gave me the opportunity to try these on for the color Galaxy Black and Golden Brown (Stardust). And I loved it since. It’s cheap and you’ll be like “no, their claims are pure exaggeration” but boy I was wrong. Before I use this, I already have my own HG eyeliner from SaSa but Miss Hana’s beats all. It costs RM24.90 of approximately 7 USD each at Nattacosme! Here are the photos of it.

The name describes the liners itself. These liners are with slight shimmer - Stardust! To celebrate Miss Hana’s Stardust liner series, Nattacosme even made a box with Stardust theme! How cool is that. You can actually use the box to keep make up stuffs. Talk about saving up! LOL. I love both colors so much that I used them a lot before taking pictures of it for this review. Forgive me for the blunt liners. Haven’t purchase any sharpener for it.

It comes with a pink box and is very cute indeed. The liners are super soft! And you don’t need extra effort to glide it on your lids. I always have trouble putting on pencil eyeliners as they are quite dry and hard thus the result of pressing more on lids causing so much pain – not to mention for contact lens users. If you are a regular eye shadow user, you know how hard it is to apply on pencil liners on top of the eye shadow. With these liners, no more painful application and happy lids! Both colors are very pigmented that when I tried the galaxy black color on my mum, she immediately loves it! I love how average the shimmer is (as I don’t actually prefer super shimmery eyes for daily usage). Here are the photos of the liners.

How I use it

To tell you the truth, I am a noob in makeup. I don’t have weird brushes for smudging, dusting and what not. All I have is my eye shadow brush (which comes within an eye shadow palette) and my fingers. LOL. So if you’re like me – and I think many of you are – applying eyeliner at its simplest is our expertise. I never wear on weird eyeliner designs etc. so I use these eyeliners as neat and thin as it possibly can. When I’m putting on my natural look and I feel like accentuating my eye lashes instead (you know the kawaii kind of look), I’ll use golden brown. Here are my eyes while putting on golden brown.

Golden Brown (without using mascara)
Golden Brown and mascara at normal lighting (forgive me for the bad pixel)
When I am in need of looking more classy and corporate-like look, I’ll put on galaxy black. Here is the photo of my eyes using galaxy black.

And to compare both colors, here is the picture of the liners I used on my lids. Anddd forgive me as I was very sleepy while taking this picture thus the sleepy eyes. It was 2 am in the morning! LOL.

Effects

Like I’ve mentioned previously, I LOVE IT! I love how pigmented it is while making my eyes look bright due to the shimmer. I think I started to love its slight shimmer. If I were to repurchase, I will keep on using the shimmery series instead. They do have normal series if you’re into matte liners. The first time I use these liners was when I had a photo shoot. I used galaxy black during the whole photo shoot session and it doesn’t melt or smudge at all! It is smudge-proof, waterproof, sweat-proof, oily-lids-proof, weather-proof...and it goes on and on. It stays so well that it even looks like I just put it on. I can’t believe my eyes! On the evening, I had a very important interview and I just reapply the liners and I’m good to go. My eyes look so bright that I look so cheerful – though I must say I am cheerful on the inside as well. LOL. I put it on almost to every important event and it never disappoints me. Need I say more?

To remove it is easy as well. I only use my normal cleansing oil and its gone in a second. Sometimes I wonder how this innovation of eyeliner is even possible! I. Must. Investigate. On the downside of the liners, it is a pencil liner and it is quite inconvenient to sharpen it up but it doesn’t bother me that much (unless when I’m in a rush and I need to sharpen it). And yes, if you want to know how good it is, you should try it too! You won’t regret it, promise! You can purchase it at Nattacosme as Nattacosme sells cheaper makeup and beauty products. Their customer service is at it's best and their delivery is super prompt too! Talk about delivery on Saturday as well! You can never go wrong on shopping at Nattacosme.

My ratings

Packaging: ★★★★☆ (cute and simple but I do prefer if it comes with attached sharpener or something)

Price: ★★★★★ (cheap and worth every penny)
